Your wedding day should be stress free (as much as humanly possible) - and taking photos on your wedding day should feel effortless, fun, and truly reflective of your love and the people surrounding you. I combine a variety of classic, photojournalistic, and modern photography styles with natural prompts and realistic poses to give you images that are timeless and authentic - I won't ever ask you to "fake it" for photos. I double as your support person for the day, whether that's helping bustle your dress, encouraging you to drink water throughout the day, or simply hyping you up - I'm there for you. When you choose me to be your wedding photographer, you're getting the real me - someone who values relationships and connections, and wants to know you as more than just a couple I'm photographing for a day.
Trust and preparation.
If you think you're unphotogenic or awkward in front of the camera, you're definitely not alone. That's why you can trust me to pick beautiful locations for your photos, understand different lighting situations, and most importantly - make you feel comfortable taking photos. I use a scaffolding approach to taking photos, meaning I start with more simple, posed photos and work up to more movement-based and playful prompts that are meant to bring out true emotions and interactions. I also make sure you feel fully prepared going into your wedding. I assist with timelines for taking photos, provide a family photo shot list, and offer unlimited consultation up to your wedding day.
Timeline planning.
However you want your wedding day to look, I'm there to help you plan it all out. I'll always respect your wishes for your wedding - I'll never push you to do a first look if you don't want one, but I'll help you plan out your day to get all the photos you want without feeling overwhelmed. With over 13 years of experience with weddings, I have a pretty good idea of how time should be chunked out for certain photos and groups, and I'm more than happy to help you figure it all out.
Timely delivery.
I know that waiting sucks, which is why it's important to me to get your photos to you as soon as I can. The day after your wedding, I'll send you a sneak peek gallery with a handful of photos of the newly-wed couple, and your full wedding gallery will be delivered within two weeks.
