A Minnesota Winter Wedding
Katie and Tony are very obvious lovers of the outdoors (and fishing!), and this couldn't have been more evident than with their decision to get married in December in Minnesota, and be willing to take photos outdoors. Long before their wedding, we planned to take photos at the Tamarack Nature Center in White Bear Lake, which is one of my favorite photo locations! What we didn't anticipate was 0 degree weather (with wind), but Katie and Tony and their entire wedding party were courageous and willing to stick with the original plan. This involved doing photos in 5-10 minute stints outside, but they still turned out beautiful :)
Katie and Tony's ceremony and reception took place the Maplewood Community Center. The venue provided beautiful natural light, and Katie and Tony added their own personal touches to the decor that really made their wedding unique to them (check out that cake topper!)
