An Intimate North Shore Wedding
I was BEYOND thrilled when Kari and Teig approached me and asked me to photograph their winter wedding on Minnesota's North Shore. I was so excited to take photos along the shoreline of Lake Superior - one of the most picturesque places in Minnesota. Kari and Teig were married in front of close family and friends at the Larsmont Cottages near Two Harbors. The Larsmont Cottages, which is a truly magical little place, provided the most perfect location to take photos in front of the lake and along the wooded paths on the property.
Kari and Teig's small ceremony in the lakeside room had everyone in tears, including me. Kari's three children were all involved in the wedding, and Teig's heartfelt vows to them as their new stepfather were truly tear-jerking. Following dinner and the first dance, the newly-wed couple and their 40ish guests went out to the shore to light and send off Chinese lanterns into the darkness of the lake at night. This was a truly beautiful and memorable wedding.
