A Fall Wedding on Gull Lake
When Jess and David first asked me about photographing their late September wedding on Gull Lake, I knew it was going to be magic. Not only was their venue, The Quarterdeck Resort in Nisswa, absolutely gorgeous, but this couple was one of the most photogenic and model-esque I've ever worked with :) You probably can't tell from their portrait photos below, but I barely did any prompting during this wedding! They just knew how to be so naturally affectionate with each other, and how to show the deep love that they so obviously hold for one other <3
Following their beautiful ceremony on the lakeshore, Jess and David went on a pontoon ride around the lake, and we didn't miss the opportunity to take photos on the dock before they left. The couple entered their reception with an explosion of confetti, and moved right into their first dance. The night ended with gorgeous sunset photos in a little field we accidentally stumbled upon. Looking back on these photos gives me such a warm feeling - this is definitely one of those weddings I would do over and over again :)
