A Western Wisconsin Barn Wedding
I'm going to preface this post by saying: This was my cousin's wedding! And it couldn't have been any more perfect. Ian and Crista chose the Barns of Lost Creek in Beldenville, WI for their venue. The grounds were beautiful - especially the smaller in barn in which dinner was held. The weather that day was not ideal - rainy, windy, and very cold for early October. So the ceremony was moved to inside the larger barn, which ended up being just as pretty as the original outside location. Since the weather was so bad, we ended up doing most of the photos inside the ceremony barn space, and it was soooo pretty. The warm wood colors and cafe string lights on the walls provided the best backdrop for wedding party photos, and especially Crista's bridal portraits.
Ian and Crista's first dance photos are some of my favorite that I've ever taken. You can definitely see the love they have for each other, as well as how much fun they were having. The last photos in this series show the prank Crista played on Ian during the garter toss - one the most entertaining things I've seen at a wedding!
