Two High-School Sweethearts on a Hot July Day
Abby and Chris started dating in eighth grade. On the table near their guest book, I looked at photos of the two of them from every high-school homecoming dance and prom. Their ten years of love for each other was evident throughout every aspect of their day. From their laid-back attitudes, close group of friends, and amazing senses of humor, I found myself feeling very comfortable with them and their wedding party. Their wedding is definitely one I'll always remember.
The day started at an Airbnb on a lake, then moved to the wedding venue, the Dellwood Country Club outside of White Bear Lake, MN. The day was extremely hot and humid (as July days often are in Minnesota), but the weather didn't kill the attitudes of anyone in the wedding. The rain waited until the ceremony was almost over, and ceased when we decided to go out for sunset photos. These two definitely have a lifetime of love and happiness ahead of them.
