A Fall Wedding at the Gale Woods Farm
I've known Becky since I was 14 years old - so when she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was so excited :) I was even more excited when she told me that her and Michael's venue was the Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, MN, one of the prettiest venues in the state (in my opinion).
The wedding party got ready at the adorable Bird House Inn in downtown Excelsior, which is where most of the wedding party and couple photos were taken. After walking around downtown Excelsior (in the middle of their city trick-or-treating event, haha), we moved on to the venue for the ceremony. As you can see in the photos, Gale Woods Farm offers one of the most beautiful ceremony sites, overlooking a lake and woods. After the ceremony, Becky and Michael wandered around with me to take some gorgeous golden hour photos around the property.
Becky and Michael put a lot of thought into making their ceremony fun for everyone. Because Becky was a flight attendant, the wedding party arranged their grand entrance to be similar to a pre-flight safety demonstration. During the reception, they used certain RSVPs from family and friends and had them kiss, and the couple had to copy that kiss. Overall, the energy and happiness was fun and positive and it was definitely a wedding to remember :)
